Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 Vaccine FAQ for Providers

A new Johnson & Johnson Vaccine FAQ has been developed to help you talk to patients about the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and the risks of developing a rare type of blood clot. Denver Health has resumed administration of the Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) COVID-19 vaccine based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). A brief pause of the vaccine was recommended earlier this month after reported cases of a rare but serious type of blood clot in the brain and/or in the abdomen was found in some individuals.
