As of 6:30 a.m. today, Denver Health had 7 inpatient COVID-19 cases (-1 from yesterday).

NEW: Denver Health Vaccination Numbers

Staff vaccination numbers were updated at 4 p.m. today.

  • 7,001 employees (+ affiliated staff/contractors) and residents/students have received their first dose of vaccine.
  • 6,657 employees (+ affiliated staff/contractors) and residents/students have received their second dose of vaccine.

In total, Denver Health has administered 100,941 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to staff, patients and members of the public who are eligible according to State guidelines.

NEW: COVID-19 Vaccines to Be Available to Everyone Age 16+ Beginning Friday, April 2

Colorado will be in Phase 2 of the COVID-19 vaccine plan on Friday, April 2, opening vaccinations to the general public age 16 and over. Individuals 16 and 17 are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine. Along with Pfizer, those 18 and older will also be eligible for the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Denver Health patients who have a MyChart account will receive notification in MyChart and can schedule a vaccine appointment in MyChart or call the Appointment Center (along with non-Denver Health patients) at 303-436-7000.

NEW: COVID-19 Huddle Sheets Ending as Incident Command Scales Down

Effective today, COVID-19 Huddle Sheets will no longer be sent to all staff on a bi-weekly basis, as Incident Command scales down operations. All further communication involving COVID-19 or COVID-19 vaccine information will be sent to staff as part of regular communication in Thursday’s 411, or sent independently should there be a COVID-19-related communication required for all staff.
