REMINDER: Emotional Support Resources for Staff
This is a challenging time for our staff and community. We are grieving over the mass shooting that took the lives of 10 people in Boulder on Monday. Many of our colleagues, staff and friends live in the Boulder area and may be significantly impacted by this tragedy.
It also comes at a time when staff are still feeling overwhelmed and vulnerable from the pandemic. This past year has been one pain and disruption. Many of us have been navigating various forms of loss, including, but not limited to, the death of patients, colleagues and loved ones; the loss of “normalcy” of the rhythm of our lives; the loss of dreams and expectations; and the loss of connection to family and friends with relationships defined by distance.
RISE Group Support can provide a dedicated and emotionally safe space to discuss the ways in which we are personally impacted by the pandemic or other events in our community. All Denver Health personnel (clinical and nonclinical, patient-facing and non-patient facing, trainees and employees, contractors and volunteers) are welcome and group content is confidential. Please register in advance. Links are provided below. Alternatively, you may email firstname.lastname@example.org with a request to be registered.

REMINDER: Huddle Sheets to be Published Bi-Weekly
Due to a continued decline in new daily COVID-19-related information, Daily Huddle Sheet Communications will be published bi-weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Incident Command was re-established several months ago when our COVID-19 inpatients exceeded 35. For several weeks now our daily hospitalization rate has significantly dropped to the low teens and single digits. You can always find information about COVID-19 and vaccinations on the COVID-19 subsite on The Pulse. You can also find the latest epidemiology numbers for Denver and Colorado on that subsite. In addition, we will share important communications about COVID-19 clinical updates, safety, vaccinations in the 411 weekly newsletter every Thursday.
Please email COVIDfirstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
